I need some help regarding Bath bath panel fitting.

Just had a new bathroom suite fitted. I now have a bath with two bath panels that need fitting (just those boring bog standard white ones). I presumed that they just clicked into place around the bath, but these do not.

Is there something else I need to do to make them fix together?
Do I need to maybe fix some2 x 1 onto the bath room floor under the bath to stop the side bath panel sliding? Please help..never done this before and any bath panel experts lurking out there are welcome to comment.
Seems this pice of wood has to be fixed to the bath room floor. Exactly where? How do I know its in exactly the right spot? Good idea on the velcro!

Live plug sockets hidden beneath bath? Can I sue landlord for negligence?

bath panels

In the house I was renting, I discovered that there was a live double mains plug socket hidden behind the bath panel.

One socket had the Saniflow unit plugged into it, the other socket had nothing plugged in.

Due to poor plumbing, the saniflow backfired and sprayed water everywhere – including under the bath – for a few hours, and could easily have reached into these plug sockets.

We could have been electrocuted and killed.

Can we sue the landlord for failing to ensure the house was safe?
I am not attempting to sue on the basis of “what might have happened”.

The fact is that those plug sockets should not be in the bath room.

He should have ensured the house was safe.

The house is NOT SAFE.

It is negligence on his part.

Should he be allowed to profit from that?

I dont think he should.

I think that is against the law.

Bath overflowed, is this a fire hazard?

The bath plug vacuum is broken and I cant get the plug out! can anyone help?

 bath panel

I cant take the bath panel out because the previous owner tiled the bath panel and it has been grouted to the wall. My bath is one where there is a dial and by turning it either way it will either lift the plug out or it will vacuum shut. There is no way i can lift it out because it is a flat plug with no gap to prize it out. any ideas?

How to install a bath please?

All of the pipework is in place just wandered if we need to run a plank of wood along the wall under the bath to secure it? As we have fitted the bath already and made sure it is level can we run vertical wood planks along the wall under the bath to secure it? Also how much gap under the bath panel should you allow for tiles? if the tiles are say 10mm thick?

Does anyone know if you can buy a bath panel that has concealed storage?

 bath panel
